Trading Rules and Market Resolution Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

These rules explain how trading and market resolution work on Grandtake so you always know what to expect.

1. Overview

These Trading Rules explain how markets work on Grandtake, how prices are set, how markets resolve, and how payouts are made. They form part of our Terms of Service.

2. Market Types

Grandtake offers two kinds of markets.

  • Binary markets resolve to Yes or No, such as whether a team wins a match.
  • Multi-outcome markets have several possible outcomes, such as the winner of a tournament. Each outcome trades against the others.

3. How Prices Work

Prices are set by an automated market maker. For a binary market the price of Yes and the price of No always add up to one dollar, so a price reflects the implied probability of that outcome.

As people trade, prices move. Buying an outcome raises its price, and the displayed multiplier shows the potential return on a winning position.

4. Placing Trades

You can trade once you are signed in and funded. Before you confirm, Grandtake shows the price, the estimated payout, and any fees. Trades are final once confirmed on-chain.

5. Market Resolution

Every market lists clear resolution criteria and an authoritative resolution source. When the event concludes, the market is resolved to the outcome supported by that source.

If the outcome is ambiguous or the listed source is unavailable, Grandtake will use the most reliable public information and act in good faith to resolve the market fairly.

6. Trading Hours

Markets are available to trade 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, until each market reaches its individual close time. Each market displays its own close and resolution dates. Trading for a market stops at its close time.

7. Fees

Grandtake charges a settlement fee of 2 percent, applied to net winnings when a position is settled. There is no separate fee to place a trade. On-chain network gas fees may apply to wallet actions. Applicable fees are always shown before you confirm.

8. Settlement and Payouts

When a market resolves, winning positions are paid in the settled stablecoin, net of the settlement fee. Losing positions settle to zero. Payouts are processed automatically after resolution.

9. Disputes and Invalid Markets

If you believe a market resolved incorrectly, contact support within 7 days of resolution with details. We will review the resolution source and criteria.

If a market cannot be resolved fairly, for example due to a cancelled event, it may be voided. When a market is voided, affected positions are returned to traders.

10. Market Integrity and Fair Use

To keep markets fair, we prohibit manipulation, coordinated trading designed to distort prices, and trading on non-public resolution information. We may suspend accounts or void trades that breach these rules.
